Italian restaurant, pizzeria and bar
We opened the Napoli restaurant back in June 2013 with the aim of bringing true Neapolitan pizza and beautiful handmade pasta to our home town of leek.
The restaurant was designed to be a laid back and relaxing place to eat out with friends and loved ones whilst delivering the great quality traditional Italian food that we have come to love so much.
We observe the strict rules of Neapolitan pizza making. Our pizza dough is hand made using only the highest quality Italian pizza flour. They are left to rise in cold temperatures for a period of 24-48 hours. The tomato sauce is made using only San marzano tomatoes. (probably the best tomatoes in the world) we only use fresh Italian mozzarella and the highest quality 24 month aged parmesan cheese.
The most important element of our pizza making process however is the traditional wood fired pizza oven. Our oven is situated in the middle of our restaurant so that everybody gets a view of how our pizza is cooked.
All our pasta is handmade at the restaurant. We use only the best traditional Italian flours and firmly believe in the quality of our pasta compared to the dried varieties available in the shops.
